If you or anyone is over 55, Carnival has a senior rates program you may qualify with only one person who is over 55 in a cabin. This rates is applicable for first and second guest in a cabin only.

Make sure you provide the proof of age with a driver’s license or a passport during the day of embarkation for pierside checkin.

We have cases where the average agencies put most people who are not over 55 yet on the senior rates program and when they board the ship, the clerk verified the id and found they did not qualify for the rates and charged them the prevailing higher cruise rate difference. Believe it or not, it was not a wonderful experience.

Make sure you have a Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Certified Cruise Counsellor to take care and help you find applicable sailings with senior rates promotion and thank him or her for the work he did because he or she is your advocate to make sure you are being treated well into your golden years.
